Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs the use of BaseQR.ai (the "Services"), operated by BaseMonkeys LLC ("Company"). BaseQR.ai is a product and subsidiary of BaseMonkeys LLC. By using the Services, you ("Client") agree to comply with this Policy. This Policy is incorporated into and governed by the Master Services Agreement ("MSA").
1. Purpose
BaseQR.ai enables dynamic QR code creation, routing, and analytics. Because QR codes connect physical and digital environments, misuse can create material risk. This Policy defines permitted and prohibited use of the Services.
2. Prohibited Uses
Client may not use the Services to create, distribute, or link to content that is: a. Illegal or Harmful • Violates any applicable law or regulation • Promotes violence, harassment, or harm • Involves exploitation or abuse of individuals b. Fraudulent or Deceptive • Phishing, impersonation, or identity misrepresentation • Misleading redirects or bait-and-switch experiences • Fake offers, scams, or deceptive marketing practices c. Malware or Security Threats • Distributes viruses, malware, or malicious code • Attempts to exploit devices, networks, or users • Redirects to compromised or unsafe destinations d. Privacy Violations • Collects personal data without proper notice or consent • Violates applicable data protection laws • Misuses tracking technologies in a non-compliant manner e. Infringing or Unauthorized Content • Violates intellectual property rights • Uses content without proper authorization f. Platform Abuse • Attempts to bypass system controls or limits • Uses automated or abusive traffic generation • Interferes with or disrupts platform performance
3. Responsibility for Content and Destinations
Client is solely responsible for: • All QR code content and linked destinations • Ensuring destinations remain compliant over time • Monitoring changes to third-party content linked through QR codes Company does not monitor or validate content and is not responsible for Client use of the Services.
4. Enforcement Rights
Company may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice: • Suspend or terminate access to the Services • Disable QR codes or routing destinations • Remove or restrict content • Take any action necessary to mitigate risk These actions may be taken immediately where misuse, risk, or legal exposure is identified.
5. Reporting Violations
Company may investigate suspected violations and cooperate with law enforcement where required.
6. No Obligation to Monitor
Company has no obligation to monitor Client activity, content, or usage. Failure to enforce any provision does not waive Company's rights.
7. Updates
Company may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
